Waiver
In consideration of the acceptance of my application and the permission to participate as an entrant or competitor in the 2020 Sunnyside Foundation Walk and Roll, I, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, successors, and assigns hereby release, waive, and forever discharge The Corporation of the City Of Kitchener, The Regional Municipality Of Waterloo, the Waterloo Regional Police Services, The Regional Municipality Of Waterloo Police Services Board, the Chief Of Police, Ministry of Health and Long Term Care and the Waterloo Wellington Local Health Integration Network, and all other entities, associations, sanctioning bodies and sponsoring companies associated with this event, and all their respective agents, officials, servants, contractors, representatives, successors and assigns of and from all actions, causes of action, suits, claims and demands whatsoever, including but not limited to illness or death from COVID-19 or any other viral infection, which I may have by reason of or in any way arising or to arise by reason of my participation in the said event, whether as a spectator, participant, competitor or otherwise; whether prior to, during or subsequent to the event and notwithstanding that same may have been contributed to or occasioned by the negligence of any of the aforesaid. I further hereby undertake to hold and save harmless and agree to indemnify all of the aforesaid from and against any or all liability incurred by any or all of them arising as a result of, or in any way connected with my participation with the said event. By submitting this entry, I acknowledge having read, understood, and agreed to the above waiver release and indemnity. I warrant that I am physically fit to participate in this event, and have attained the age of 18 years, or if not 18 years of age, my parent or guardian has signed on my behalf. I also authorize the use of any photographs of me (or my child) taken at the event for the promotion of the Sunnyside Walk & Roll.
