Complaint about a Health Care Professional or Setting

Region of Waterloo Public Health is mandated, under The Ontario Public Health Standards, to investigate all Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) complaints regarding regulated health professionals and settings.

Public Health will not respond to complaints unrelated to Infection Prevention and Control such as:

• Wait times
• Diagnosis and treatment
• Health care professional conduct
• Patient service experience

Complaints of this nature should be directed to the appropriate regulatory college or health care professional directly.  View the listing of regulatory colleges for website and contact information.
